Thanks to a thermographic study performed with the University of Padova, we could see further benefits arising from the use of the Thorax Protector. This device is in fact able to increase the thermal insulation when used with motorcycle jacket. A 3-layer jacket, equipped with the Chest Protector increases its thermal insulation by 11.5%. A 3-layer jacket equipped with the Thorax Protector increases its thermal insulation by 15%. Thorax Protector can be equipped to all SPIDI jackets that that can be equipped with traditional Warrior Chest protector; alternatively can be worn using the straps provided.
