The internal riser bungs are designed to fit inside 1” outer diameter steel tubing with a maximum wall thickness of .120” (11 gauge). A machined chamfer allows for proper weld penetration. The 1” diameter is a perfect match to your tubing and the 1-1/4” overall length allows for sufficient thread engagement. The coped end bungs fit perfectly to 1” diameter tubing and the 1” length from edge of cope to flat face provides 1” of rise once welded to your handlebar
These bungs feature 1/2-13 internal threads for mounting to Harley Davidsonstyle triple trees. Your handlebar mounting bolts pass through the bottom of the triple trees and thread into these bungs for a much cleaner installation as compared to traditional clamp style risers
